After
Lydia presented the dress in 1976 at a press gathering in
London, Vogue-England published the largest picture and
copy feature story ever given to a single dress, modeled by
the famous American model Jerry Hall. Vogue headlined the
dress as the “Chameleon” because of its incredible
versatility of use. In 1980, the French press recognized
Lydia for her ingenious designs at the “Gala de la Press”
event in Paris.
